There might well be many blogs of this nature, but who cares. This is my effort at documenting my progress within a sport known by many things. Officially it is known as IPSC, or the International Pistol Shooting Confederation. Quite simply it is a dynamic sport which is based on speed, power, strategy, tactics and a whole lot of fun. It is nowhere near a yahoo sport, and anybody with these types of notions, would be encouraged to visit a match, and see what I mean.
I decided to start this blog after realising that newbies, like myself, spend an inordinate amount of time, and frustration, researching equipment needs, and trying to understand, discover why things are done in a certain way. Not to mention the costly mistakes. Asking around helps to an extent, but still doesn't overcome many obstacles. So I thought, what the hell, let me compile everything I learn and experience along the way. Perhaps it may help others to make more informed choices.
As for my blog logo, it is a combination of the sport's official logo and an amalgam of my home and birth countries flags.
